Tuesday’s Tips: Brown Sugar
Just when you think your brown sugar has exhausted its life expectancy, toss it in the microwave for 20 seconds and it will be soft again. Covering it with wax paper or adding another 10 seconds may prove necessary for rough blocks of sugar.

It was first introduced to me by my best friend. I didn’t understand the poignance of it until I watched Kanye’s interview with Ellen before the debut of the video. I can see how hardening your heart can ruin a relationship, but I can also understand the ‘necessity’ for the sake of self-preservation. Hard hearts don’t win. They lose. Everytime. I live by the motto; “Everything happens for a reason”, for a reason.
