MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.”  -Bill Cosby, Actor/Comedian

PLEASE STOP BEING THE PEOPLE PLEASER  *******Being a people is not only the key to failure, but it’s the key to eternal unhappiness and lack of self-worth.  People pleasing stems from low self-esteem.  You feel your not worthy unless everyone is happy with what you are doing for them.  What are you doing for yourself if you spend all of your time pleasing others?  I used to be a people pleaser and I put a dead stop to that when I took a cold, hard look at my state of mind and quality of life.  At this point, I don’t mind pleasing others at all, but I limit it to close loved ones and I gauge how I will be affected once I set out to please someone else.  I used to think that way of thinking was selfish, now I see it as self-preserving and selfless.*******
