New Poem – 26 Nov 2011 – How Dare We

    Lovers Walk

    How dare you

Look at me with those eyes

Smile at me with that mouth

Walk towards me with that gait

Talk to me with that voice

    How dare I

    Pretend I don’t see you

Hide my grin with a smirk

Walk by you with my strut

Talk to you like I’m calm

    How dare we

    Glance then look away

    Smile then blank our faces

Brush shoulders as we walk by

    Talk like we’re just friends

*A Must Read If You Want A Good Wife* Women Are Precious by http://justsimplyinlove.wordpress.com/

By getting married you are not just getting a wife, you are getting your whole world. From now until the rest of your days your wife will be your partner, your companion, and your best friend.

    She will share your moments, your days, and your years. She will share your joys and sorrows, your successes and failures, your dreams and your fears. When you are ill, she will take the best care of you; when you need help, she will do all she can for you;

When you have a secret, she will keep it; when you need advice, she will give you the best advice. She will always be with you: when you wake up in the morning the first thing your eyes will see will be hers; during the day, she will be with you, if for a moment she is not with you by her physical body, she will be thinking of you, praying for you with all her heart, mind, and soul; when you go to sleep at night, the last thing your eyes will see will be her; and when you are asleep you will still see her in your dreams. In short, she will be your whole world and you will be her whole world. ♥       http://justsimplyinlove.wordpress.com/

    School – Shel Silverstein

*******This is exactly how I felt when I woke up today, but guess what?  I don’t have to work today…woo-hoo!!!*******

“I cannot go to school today”
    Said little Peggy Ann McKay.
“I have the measles and the mumps,
A gash, a rash and purple bumps.

My mouth is wet, my throat is dry.
I’m going blind in my right eye.
My tonsils are as big as rocks,
    I’ve counted sixteen chicken pox.

    And there’s one more – that’s seventeen,
And don’t you think my face looks green?
My leg is cut, my eyes are blue,
It might be the instamatic flu.

I cough and sneeze and gasp and choke,
I’m sure that my left leg is broke.
My hip hurts when I move my chin,
    My belly button’s caving in.

My back is wrenched, my ankle’s sprained,
My ‘pendix pains each time it rains.
My toes are cold, my toes are numb,

I have a sliver in my thumb.

My neck is stiff, my voice is weak,
I hardly whisper when I speak.
My tongue is filling up my mouth,

I think my hair is falling out.

My elbow’s bent, my spine ain’t straight,
    My temperature is one-o-eight.
My brain is shrunk, I cannot hear,

There’s a hole inside my ear.

I have a hangnail, and my heart is …
What? What’s that? What’s that you say?
You say today is ………….. Saturday?

G’bye, I’m going out to play!”
    ― Shel Silverstein
