Motivational Quote of the Day – 28 Nov 2011 – Am I Resourceful Enough?

“A resourceful person can see opportunity when others only see obstacles.”

    — Garrett Gunderson: is an entrepreneur and author

*******One of the biggest differences between success and failure is the amount of resources you seek out to accomplish your goal.  Due to some dire times in the past, I have had to learn how to be very resourceful.  One of the best compliments I received was when a friend told me she knew she could ask me about pretty much anything and I could tell her where to go or who to call for help.  I never viewed anything as an obstacle, but a challenge waiting for me to rise up to and conquer.  I’m grateful for those hard times for they taught me how to be a survivor that remains unflappable.*******

Motivational Quote of the Day 5 Aug 2011

“Failure is a detour, not a dead-end street.”

    — Zig Ziglar: Motivational author and speaker

I’ve had many failures over the years and for some reason (even though I may temporarily beat myself up), I get right back on the horse again and keep on riding. I guess deep down in my heart I know I am capable of achieving any goal I set as long as I really want to achieve it. This is what keeps me going. I know the world is not going to give me a break of that kit kat bar, I have to break it myself. What keeps you going after your failures and why?

"Give me a break, give me a break, break me off a piece of that Kit Kat bar!"
