HOW DARE WE

 

How dare you

Look at me with those eyes

Smile at me with that mouth

Walk towards me with that gait

Talk to me with that voice

 

How dare I

Pretend I don’t see you

Hide my grin with a smirk

Walk by you with my strut

Talk to you like I’m calm

 

How dare we

Glance then look away

Smile then blank our faces

Brush shoulders as we walk by

Talk like we’re just friends
